[Since the last event Raven has spent the entire time locked away in his room sleeping it off. Now however he feels as though that wasn't he wisest thing to do. So he's currently in the Barracks borrowing one of their standard wooden bows and practising hitting the targets. He doesn't seem to be doing very well though, he's broken a few window

[Here comes Arumat for his daily practice, only to find an arrow heading right at him. Good thing he is hax enough to be able to sidestep and grab the arrow right out of the air with a less-than-pleased expression on his face. Okay, who was responsible for that?]

[Raven hasn't been paying much attention to where his wild fire arrows are flying off too. But there may be another one or two heading your way very quickly. Might want to get him to stop practising for a bit.]

[In one swift movement, Arumat shifts the scythe from where it was resting on his shoulder, turns on the blade and slashes the arrows away.]

[That definitely got Raven's attention. He quickly drops the bow to the ground and begins frantically apologising.]

Ah! Sorry! I didn't know ya were there. Are ya all right?

Bah sinus headaches scrambling my brain!

Weapons aren't toys. If you don't know how to use one properly, you have no business playing with it.

[Arumat isn't one to mince words, and as a soldier, he has little tolerance for those he perceives as "civilians" either. He's just going to toss the arrow aside before lowering his scythe down back to rest on his shoulder.]

Hey I do know how ta use a bow. I just haven't picked one up in 2 months so I'm rusty. I ain't gonna get back to my game if I'm out of practise!

It's not my bow anyway, I was borrowin' it.

[Damn, he shouldn't have tossed that arrow aside just a moment ago. Oh well, he's just going to pick it up again and fit it to the bowstring. He's no professional archer by any means, but he's used a bow a few times before and seen Reimi in battle often enough to know how it works.

Aiming, aiming, and...

The shot hits a little bit high and to the left, but it's not bad for someone who's not an archer.]

[Raven, you just challenged a professional soldier who can manually out-target a computerized missile targeting system. This time he'll take more careful aim; now that he's got a feel for the bow's power, figuring out where to aim shouldn't be that difficult at all. Once more he'll draw the arrow back, and...
