Damn. It feels like with each new chapter, I'm thinking that it's my favorite one yet... but this one really is!!! lol. First of all, GAH WATSON!!! I love that despite how confused and exhausted, and in pain he is, it's still not even a question to him to rally enough strength to fight for Holmes. That was so perfect, and heroic and Watson! Apparently Holmes was as impressed as I was given his reaction too

*cough* Anyway, thanks! I really just love Watson ignoring the rest of the world for the sake of Holmes. He does it so well. :D Also, it was the perfect time to really make Holmes acknowledge their relationship, being that he did everything but actually say it earlier.

Oh, no, no it's fine! I just can't breathe and am suffering from the possibility of never taking this story seriously again. *dying* I think I've achieved my greatest goal in life: Victorian Era Old Spice Commercial.

I actually had to get up and show this to my sister, and we sat and gasped for like five minutes, so thanks for that. XD

The taller one stepped up and cracked his knuckles, and I could feel Holmes' pained breath when he realised that the rings the man wore were fashioned from the skulls of ravens.
I had completely forgotten about that. Considering Sherlock's family in this AU … *shivers*

Before I could even shut my eyes in desperate anticipation, I heard a loud chittering, and an army of rats rose like a tidal wave up from a storm drain and swarmed across Mr Croup's legs, climbing up and under and over his trousers, biting and squeaking and screeching and clawing.

*runs away and hides under the bed with my wooden stakes*
