The writers of many shows in America went on strike due to the fact that they no longer have a contract with the networks assuring them any money they deserve. The networks make a pile of money with the shows and now the writer's shall not even get a small percentage of that. That's why they went on a strike which also means they stopped writing. We have gotten permission to take up a collection for the backend people effected by the strike if anyone wants to participate. Most of these people live paycheck to paycheck and this strike will have an immediate effect on them. Details are also on the CMF blog.
