The writers of many shows in America went on strike due to the fact that they no longer have a contract with the networks assuring them any money they deserve. The networks make a pile of money with the shows and now the writer's shall not even get a small percentage of that. That's why they went on a strike which also means they stopped writing. According to Kirsten Vangsness the crew of Criminal Minds is running out of scripts in about one week. That means in about one week the whole crew will be out of job, the actors, the producers, everyone. Without writers there are no scripts and without scripts there is no show anymore. Just because the networks refuse to give the writers what they deserve, namely a small percentage of what the networks earn with the show that wouldn't even exist without the writers.

We the fans can support the writers so they will hopefully soon get what they are asking for: A contract with the networks that makes sure they won't have to be down on their uppers once the show is over. We can sign petitions in the internet:

Edward Bernero, executive producer of the show, has written a letter to all the fans of Criminal Minds and posted it on one of the numerous fansites:

http://criminalmindsfanatic.blogspot.com/

Just go down till it says "Edward Allen Bernero speaks to the fans of Criminal Minds about the writers strike".

Help the writers fighting for their rights or after only one half of season 3 there will be no more Criminal Minds!!!

If this is not allowed or undesired, please tell me and I'll delete it. But I think it's really important.
