TV Round-Up

→ Grey's Anatomy: Am I the only one who feels like this show has ADD? Either that or they're so focused on misdirection that I just literally have no clue what is going to happen next. Next episode is a Private Practice crossover. My least favorite of all. Boo.

→ The Vampire Diaries: I watched it. I have a lot of feelings. Many of them involve ( Read more... )

I want it to happen so badly. But I feel like it is going to end with the last and final Donovan biting the big one. Like, date Elena? Sounds like a death wish for a human if I eve heard one.

I am more convinced than ever that Elena will not end up with either Stefan or Damon. I also don't believe she'll ever turn into a vamp. I hope she doesn't.

In the end I feel like she's gonna have to end up with one of those two. But she could interlude in Donovan territory couldn't she?

Also, I kind of want to see how closely they're following the books in terms of MAJOR plot developments. Every now and then I hear things that make me believe that they have some small similarities. If Elena in the books even turns, since she's the main character, I'm more willing to believe it will inevitably happen on the show. However, for me to know that (within the context of the book-verse) I'd probably have to read the books and I'm not sure I'm that devoted.

Elena can hook up with Matt and Elijah. I'd be on board with that.

I've heard there was a Klaus in the books. But that's all I've heard in terms of similarities. I just can't get involved in reading an on-going series.

The books continuity is ongoing, but with a new author, which essentially makes the new books fanfiction IMO. The LJ Smith books are done.

Shows!

I like that Lemon's fiance (George?) finally brought up how distanced he's felt from her. She really did need to break down in front of him. I used to think that Lavonne and Lemon were true loves but I like him and Didi. He's healing. And George really does love Lemon. Once he understood, he forgave her. And she finally has someone to go to for support. What's up with her mother ( ... )

George definitely needed to deal with the thing between him and Lemon. I still feel like Lavon and Lemon might be something that happens. It's all so heartbreaking that I'm kind of forced to ship them. You know how I love the angst.

I think the thing about her mom that gets me, is not necessarily that her mom bailed. That's totally a thing that people do. But her father? How can he really believe that she's ever ever coming back for them, and him in particular? Talk about delusional. I mean, it's one thing for a daughter to want and hope for her mom back, but if your wife left you a decade and a half ago and you're still keeping her crap around thinking she's coming home, you need a wake up call! (And hopefully he got it when Lemon told him the truth ( ... )

Brick is totally delusional. But that's rough that his wife made a new family so close buy. I can only accept full amnesia for her reasoning. She left behind two little girls and a husband who loved her ( ... )

Jane By Design - Totally the AU of Pretty in Pink. And yes, Billy and Jane should be the end game.

Vampire Diaries - Now, I really am pissed that Jeremy's gone because he and Kol canoodling, perfect.

Revenge - <3

GA - It was getting back to 2nd-season kind of awesome but the past few episodes were crap.

HoD - I love this show but I'm a little meh about the last few eps.

Hahaha, I wish I remembered the storyline of pretty in pink more!

I'm not sure canoodling would be in the cards for them, but some kind of "troublemaker sibling" glaring might be in order.

Yeah I'm bummed about Grey's last two eps. I expected more. Especially from that crazy AU episode. It was super disappointing.

Agreed about HoD. I think part of it has been Lemon's spiral. Some might also be because Judson is boring. I want another episode where we see George and Wade team up, and Lemon can play too. Because they were adorable.

Basically, 2 misfit BFFs vs the world. She (Andie/Jane) catches the eye of one of the popular kids while being singled out for scorn and bullying by another. Oh yeah, they have a thing for fashion, and her best friend (Duckie/Billy) have a complicated relationship with her.

The AU ep should have been awesome but it felt forced. The only thing I kinda loved was Alex/Meredith.

I totally remembered the "complicated" bff relationship. But other than that I'd totally blanked. Thank you for the refresher!

See Alex/Mere would have been awesome if it hadn't ended so quickly. I mean still, it was awesome to see it for that half a second. But I disliked the idea that NO MATTER WHAT they're going to end up in the same place they are now. It just seems trite and totally not at all how the world works.

Sarah and Mark on Parenthood are killing me. I love those two, but they are so not going to make it and I get all sniffly just thinking about that fact. I'm digging Bob Little/Amber, but it made me a little uncomfortable when he gave her that promotion because who puts someone in that position? He had to know she wonder if it was merit based or because he wanted to sleep with her. I loved the soup moment, but I'm so afraid this is all going to come crashing in on Amber. She's doing so well! Can't they let her end one season on a high note.

KILLING ME. It's like, I can see the end so clearly an it just breaks my damn heart. This would not be nearly as painful if Ritter would stop booking pilots. CHILL OUT MAN.

It was kind of uncomfortable but kind of sweet too. I mean, not the fact that he promoted her, cause he should have known better, but just their whole little flirtation comes off as sweet and very innocent. It doesn't come off as creepy at all. Besides, I'm telling myself it's okay because it's a temporary job because there's gotta be an election some time right? It's like a "summer job" kinda, lol.

I am really hoping this thing with Amber doesn't crush her. Is it wrong to cross my fingers for a happy ending?

Sent you a text, btw.
