She likes to stay in the most broken down of places. Jack thinks it’s because it matches her mood, but he doesn’t like to think about that. She’s not broken to him, she’s perfect, like an angel in dirty clothes that never seem to get clean anymore. That’s one of the reasons he likes to undress her. She’s so flawless underneath

Oh gosh I love that last line. This is just arresting. I love the contradiction throughout this whole thing. You've really captured a side of Claire, or at least, the Claire in my head, that I just love. Thank you so much for writing them!
