This morning, on the Today Show, they did a story about the planetarium in Chicago that mapping the universe. And the story really put into perspective all the things that have happened in the world- depressions, plagues, wars, famines, etc. And in the background, they were playing "To Everything A Season" which is one of my favorite Bible verses. So, after having the crazy cast of characters last year in both classes, this year in Kindergarten is down right boring. I love it. It's not actually boring, just way calmer than last year. So, I frequently tell my kids to "freeze." They don't get it much. So today, without thinking, I said "pause." Yup, that they got. And then, one turns around at me and goes "Where's your remote, Miss R?"

Yup. Pause. That they get. What ever happened to "freeze"? It was such a nice word...

You know, I often wonder odd things (or at least, I never hear anyone else wondering these things...) such as "Why are the days of the week in this order?" and "who invented bleach?"
