thanks for reading! It seemed logical that he'd need someone to help and who better than a relative? Not sure what's going to happen to him in the future (aside from the retcon of course!), but I think he may come in useful as a catalyst a little way down the line.
thank you! Next bit is almost finished in draft form - hopefully a week or so, depending on how the rest of it goes. It won't follow straight on but oddly enough a later part might (the timeline of the piece will make sense over a few postings!)
I like Ianto spotting Jack's Torchwood is different hinting at the fact this Torchwood may not execute Ianto on discovery...Looking forward tot eh next part...
Fragments really did show how much of a change Jack has made to Torchwood - as I've said before, it' no wonder he bit the Doctor's head off in Sound of Drums when the Doc tried to castigate him for being part of Torchwood!
Thanks for reading - think I've just got an idea for how to get past a sticky point in Part 2 so when I finally get some time on the PC I might be able to get draft 1 finished!
What a magnificent start! This beginning promises sooo much - an exciting plot (of course we all KNOW what's gonna happen eventually, but you seem to have some very innovative ideas about how to fill the gaps), strong!Ianto, some skeletons in his closet and of course loads of Jack & Ianto interaction (and I'm using that as a very broad term - honestly! *wink*). So, do YOU always keep your promises? *grin* Can't wait for the next part! Thanks for writing and sharing.

i hope I can keep up to the initial promise then!! Oh, Ianto has a LOT of skeletons in there. Some will come out during this story, some I intend to keep back for later. I have to admit, this story was only born after Fragments, as that rather changed the way I saw Ianto and the pre-Cyberwoman Jack/Ianto relationship.
thank you! i LIKE him - I'm just not sure I trust him under these circumstances. He'll do anything for her - literally. Everyone and everything else goes by the wayside. Quite dangerous, that kind of love.
