Ok, since I'm c&p-ing this diary from another site I have it on, I figured I'd skip to the part where the dress is pretty much finished. Plus, I have some new to show off. I made a reticule to go with the outfit. It's kind of a goofy little ball purse...but it will hold a camera, make-up and whatever else is needed. At this point, there are

I love it!! Those pleats are gorgeous. Hmm, I don't know about the buttons yet. I always have to see that in order to make up my mind. The question is do you want them to stand out (then use gold buttons) or do you want them to be part of the vest (than use green silk buttons)?

Pleats are awesome. BTW, how'd that black bustle dress with all the pleats turn out? Or are you still working on it? I have some antique-colored gold buttons I've started putting on it. Maybe later this week I can get a picture of them against the fabric.

Your pleats look wonderful! They're so crisp and perfect. I can't say I'm a huge fan of plaid, but I think the dress looks good. What's your DA username?
