One reason I liked living in Little Italy was that there were always people around so it felt quite safe coming home late.

oh how lovely of you! well we don't have a mailing address quite yet, though we will be in a fixed place by Sept 22 and will have an address for there. If you were thinking of sending something he would use up in the next few months (like wrapping paper and ribbons, which he loves!!!!), please do but if it's something more long term, might be better to save it for Christmas when we come through TO? Yes the night life is nice and family based in Italy, it seems to me.
