It's nearly 1 am and the sea front outside our window is hopping -- we can hear children, by the sounds of it quite young, shouting and laughing away. Luckily the pounding music of passing cars is somewhat less than last night. Tomorrow to Himera where the Greeks defeated and were defeated by the Carthaginians. We bought E his first pair of shoes today. I can't believe he'll be 1 year old in 3 weeks!
