The body switch had been very educational for the two parties involved:
Rose learned than a conflict does not always have to involve some sort of disagreement, that a conflict can be as simple as two people not wanting to admit something.
The Doctor learned that if something had to be dismantled in the central information unit of Phlancon C, Section 7 to do so alone or to get all unexposed thoughts and feelings out in the open before descending. That way, the odds of being switched over into someone else's body would be less likely to occur (not to mention he was less likely to anger someone to the point they try to drown him).
In fact, the only downside the Doctor could think of wasn't really a negative... He could honestly admit he didn't mind shagging Rose within an inch of life at least twice a day. It actually tended to make him feel much less stressed and he get tasks done ten times faster when Rose said she was on her way to bed.
Though, there came a day when the Doctor became too distracted by something beneath the console that Rose got started without him. He realized just a little too late maybe he should have warned Rose that, while he was in her body, he had made a very tiny adjustment to the items she kept in the bottom drawer of her bedside table. The loud screams that sounded down the corridor and floated into the console room caught the Time Lord off guard and he had dashed down the corridor thinking something bad had befallen his companion.
The moment he reached her bedroom, the door was flung open by the very woman that had screamed out. Her hair was a mess around her head and her eyes were smouldering (not to mention one of them was twitching slightly). The fact the blond was naked only added to her insane appearance. When she spoke, her voice was a dangerous growl.
"Not. Everything. Needs. A. Sonic. Setting. DOCTOR."
Rose grabbed him by his tie and yanked him into her room, slamming the door behind them.
Neither being immerged from the room for three days.
And the Doctor ended up adding a little side note to the lesson of his experience: Make sure EVERYTHING has at least one sonic setting.
