Got pretty tired of idiots screaming at the high school today, whether in the classroom or out in the halls. Wrote down some ideas for a story, though, and did some drawing as well. Then tonight I met up with John at the Diner; good times were had.

In my senior year of high school, my English class discussed Aristotle's view that plot was the most important aspect of storytelling. There was some disagreement on this point, and some felt that character were just as - if not more - important. I hadn't quite made up my mind, but I was inclined to agree with the old philosopher. People treat hatred like it's a bad thing. The Nazis hated Jews, the KKK hates black people, the Mormon church hates gays. These are all bad things, we agree. However, didn't the Jews hate Hitler in return? Surely there are African Americans who despise the Klu Klux Klan.
