I've fallen a bit behind on my webcomic (
http://www.lukewarmdotcom.com). At first, I had a decent backlog of comics to draw (hah) from. Then something happened.
School.
This Monday, I didn't get the day's strip finished until about 6:30pm. Today, I killed my right arm churning out tomorrow's comic, and before I know it, Friday will be here. Trick is, I've only been pimping this thing on Facebook and Twitter - hardly anyone reads the latter of which, anyhow. So readership is basically a few of my friends, and whomever they might link the comic to that also decides to give it a shot. Yet I go nuts trying to keep to my self-imposed update schedule. And all the while, though I think about how there's no reason I couldn't skip a day, change the schedule or quit entirely, I still go at it. Then I realize, this might be the longest consistent work I've put into a creative endeavor in a long time - maybe ever.
I'mma keep going with it.
