I woke up today rather chilled. I went over and saw Mr. Yankee Doodle looking a bit clamped up, so of course I ran out after class and picked him up a tiny tank heater. He's now happily swimming through his plants and being a total spaz. Still no pictures. I'm working on it ( Read more... )

From the list, I really like Poe and Monet.. though I can imagine a big rat named Monet easier than a big rat named Poe. This might also be the 3am talking in me though.

I kindof like Monet too. I'm not sure Poe really suits his personality. But then again that's from meeting him once for half an hour. I guess we'll see later.

Rats as pets? I still cant get past my general yuckiness about them. I mean, I've seen some cute ones in cages but OMG, they make me shiver. But I like Poe.

Try to get a mattress cover for the bed. Like a feather mattress but cheaper so you can beat that up before you get to the actual mattress. Back in my college days we used egg crates.

yep, rats as pets. They're pretty much like tiny dogs you dont have to walk. They're really smart, clean, not smelly, and affectionate. I've got two girls right now.

I've got a mattress pad, and I'm only looking for this thing to last a bit under two years. Once I'm done with school I'm going to get myself a big girl bed!
