I think transgender people like to be referred to as the gender they are transitioning to, so probably "her." I have a transgender friend and that's how he feels anyways.

How did your parents meet her?

Yeah, Crystal goes by her, didn't take too long to get used to it
I think she was staying at one of my mother's teacher friend's house for a while, and now she's sleeping on my couch, though I'm still not sure exactly why
