1) The trick to being an 'intelligent' college student is to make sure that you're always around people you can trust, and that you are in a place you are comfortable remaining, before you get really fucked up. Push the boundaries but don't be a complete dick about it like most people are. And also, don't become one of those people who brags about how much they drink on the HJ elevators, because I always always always wanted to punch those people in the face, and I'm sure everybody else did too.
2) There's much less of a barrier between students and teachers here than in high school, even science and math, I think. MAYBE HE WANTS TO BE YOUR FRIEND. MAYBE HE'S LONELY.
3) Try walking an hour+ from Carrboro to hinton james at 4 in the morning. It's fun! (<--clearly, this is sarcasm.)
Glad you're having a good time so far. :) You should come visit the apartment sometime (eventually we will have alcohol to entice people here with, siiiigh.)
