News&Observer article.  That's really rough, considering what she's probably had to go through just to get in the States.  And the bio under her picture said she's here on full scholarship (at Duke! sheesh...).  A few things in th article made me laugh though, like when they describe her as "slight

No, i haven't, not yet! Like parts and excerpts in the side bars of textbooks, but I really really need to! I have such a long list of things to read and watch and get around to. Erggg!

WHOA you need to read it because it's seriously like...

what you were talking about, civilization has gone wrong and we haven't realized it yet because we haven't crash, but we're going to crash and we need to go back to the beginning and start again.

Essentially it's saying that the type of civilization we have now isn't working for our species; we need to go back to before agriculture began and live in small groups, etc. etc. very interesting stuff.

We do! I'm absolutely convinced, but I'm not entirely sure how. People are like cockroaches, we'd be hard to kill and we're not very willing to go back to living in caves. Not when we have electric lighting and heating and the internets!
