While I can't speak for State, I'm going to go ahead and tell you that UNC's Honors program is pretty arbitrary and that being a part of the Honors program does not have separate housing like State, or any really special perks other than first-come-first-serve on specific classes (like Honors sections of introductory courses, an example being Econ101-H). I was offended at first because I wasn't invited to the honors program, but: 1) you can apply to enter later if you have a 3.5+ GPA, and 2) you're really not missing much. Really.

Haha, thanks. I know Honor kids at State get to sign up for classes really early (like before seniors, I think?) and their dorms are right on the main Quad. I think the Honors buildings are actually better than the Women in Engineering (WISE) dorms. They're certainly in a better location, whereas WISE is next to an Intramural Field (whoopie?) I'll have to keep on considering both then. >.< Gotta get into the schools first though.
