In January the beloved Hazel's brother Arnold and his wife Stefanie came to visit her from Belgium and they came to our house for dinner. Well, I guess my Mom mentioned how hard it is to find good marzipan (the most delicious pastry) in the US, because yesterday they sent us a huge box of it.

Today on the Metro I met Khalid. He was just a friendly guy that started talking to me as soon as we got on the train. I told him my name was Talia. He said it was beautiful so I told him it is Hebrew, and that my father is from Israel. He replied that he is Yemenite and his father worked for the government, he was born in Lebanon and lived ( Read more... ) -

every time i look at my mask I laugh.
My mask for english class is basically Harry potter with white hair with a beard. I am so proud of it. It even has a sparkly lightning scar. -
