i have gone through patterns with lj where i post a lot and then stop completely for months because after a while i realize no one reads my entries so i may as well just write privately. i dont know why it bothers me. i dont know why im sharing... i want to post more, but just dont know if i am up to it yet...

Sometimes I feel like no one is reading my posts either, but usually a lack of response just means people are busy... I certainly read your posts, though sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with them. I have too many people on my reading list and I need to trim it down a bit!

She also has a longer friends list and therefore more possible readers...

It was good to see you too. Yes, he's shy, and did enjoy the show. :-) We'll all have to go out again soon so we can talk!

But I saw this and wanted to comment. This will likely be lengthy, pardon my verbosity.
I know what you mean. And I've been online and active probably longer than Stacy, maybe. Various journals and communities and screen names (well one that I used often everywhere). I've never gotten many comments (journals or forums either). I had a larger FList on another journal, at least like 10+ people, I know not a ton, but people I would regularly read and try to comment to when I thought I had something useful to add. People I knew more than in just passing mostly. Some I'd known for years. Still, next to nothing if not that ( ... )

And it would do little good to read your friends page in regards to myself anyway... Methinks you have someone else in mind?
Unless I've been participating in roller derbies and blogging in my sleep. Hm, that would certainly explain why I'm generally exhausted.
As below (so above? No, no, wrong thing), I popped in somewhat randomly. I don't do so often, but it sometimes happens with those on my FList leading to other people (in this case Stacy's LJ-->your's). Enough mentions and I may grow curious. Perhaps. And if there's something of interest for me to comment on, I just might.
Have a wonderful day.
