Oh my God that was the most amazing thing I've read in a million billion trillion years WOW. The literary references were especially hilarious. And how in character Arthur was, and Eames, and everyone; oh this was delightful.

"Probably too busy playing out all your surrogate-father abandonment issues with Holden Caulfield over there. I'm sure that's very fun for the two of you."

HAHAHAHAHA possibly my favorite line in the book, and poor Eames not wanting to be Humbert to Arthur's Lolita. That was the most ridiculous thing but totally awesome.

Ahahaha thank you so much! I adore writing Eames. He's fun.

Yeah, those part where sort of accidental - what is this plot and why is it here?! - but I thought that well, it isn't only his relationship with Eames that would be affected by the difference in age, and I had this mental image of Mal and Cobb being parental figures for him, until Mal dies and then he steps up to be there for Cobb and Cobb maybe forever feels a bit guilty about making him take on the role of friend and partner rather than son, while Arthur keeps that remnant of unconditional love a child has.

Echoing everyone else to say just how bloody amazing this is. It's got great characterisation, dialogue, and plot. EPIC WIN on the storytelling. Also, you win my heart because this is funny and hot, and they are funny and hot, and I'm a sucker for funny and hot.
