Let me preface this by stating that I am posting all this because I care about the game I created. I am not bitching--I am trying to figure out how it can be saved from the direction it is headed. I have every right to be concerned about why I feel it is headed south (and I dont mean Florida). This is MY LJ and its about the game I created. If

-I agree. I understand having a new wyrm be "clear" for a few months while Plot figures out what color to make them, especially those characters we see very rarely for one reason or another. That makes perfect sense, up to a point. However, there is at least 1 PC who has been a wyrm for over a year, is at nearly every event in MI and IN, and still doesn't have a color...? That's getting a little ridiculous now.
-I agree here too, we have PCs with new skills that are still not in the rulebook... not even in the database for them to look up on their online character viewer! While I understand that these things are supposed to be rare, Shawn made an excellent point that we know more about Ascetics and Filchards than the new skills. "Tracking," "Mentor," and "Prestige Classes" need to hurry up and be brought out. If the rules aren't completed yet, PCs shouldn't be learning them yet!

-You're right, Plot is not drawing people in. Plot sends out hooks and leads often as a single farmer/local resident/traveler passing through/some other no-name person who thought we might like to know something, that person stops and talks to the first PC they see, they tell them the plot tid-bit, and they leave. The PC who gets the juicy news either keeps it entirely to themselves, or they tell a select few of their friends and people "they think ought to know," and that's that. We all know, OOG, that Plot IS sending out info and hooks and leads and mod info all the time."
Apparently not.

I thought my meaning was implied based on the rest of the statement, especially with regards to PC/NPC interaction, which is why I am mildly frustrated that you're arguing so vehemently about something that does not involve any real people, anonymous or friend.
If you mean "Why didn't I say I was talking about Characters and not Players until now?" that is the answer. I didn't realize the clarification needed to be made for you.
Perhaps I could have been more clear that I was expressing my OOG feelings about IG things, but I assumed the talk of interaction between "Random NPC and Random PC" would make my meaning apparent. I apologize for the misunderstanding, in that case.
