Oh, thank you so so much...I had a strange need to write suicidal!Peter, so there it is. I'm curious to know which other story you read. I currently have five stories in my journal. i read all of em hehe. i found two on another site tho, and those are the first ones i read...Necessary Indiscretion, and Indestructible. the rest i read on flyingpetrellis, i believe.

Excellent stuff... scary and morbid and sad, and yet touching and beautiful and full of obvious love. Claire is really intense; she's an expert at killing and mutilating herself by now, and the peace and feelings of control that this gives her chills me because it just makes so much sense. It's an interesting subject matter to explore; Claire is far from the only cutter out there. And it doesn't surprise me that Peter doesn't quite take it the same way; Claire's got nothing to lose but everything, but Peter's got the one thing in the world he can't let go - Nathan. And Nathan is unfortunately mortal. (More's the pity.)

Thank you so much for your glowing review, they always make me squee! This fic stemmed from the thought that Peter and Claire might live forever and Nathan won't, and that made me sad, so I wrote this. I was afraid to post this because it was a lot darker than anything I've posted before, and I was somewhat skeptical that Peter's suicide attempt would be plausible. I myself hate knives and I cry getting a needle, and it scares me to think of losing my brothers, so I was facing my own fears with this one. And angsty!Peter is fun to write. I love exploring different facets of the Petrelli boys' relationship.

This went to a beautiful, dark place. It's not surprising that Claire would turn to cutting. I can see how she'd think that Peter would benefit from it too. Thank goodness she was right, in the end.

That was so powerful. I'm not usually a fan of self-mutilation in any capacity, but that was really well done and it felt almost necessary. I also like how even though it was Claire and Peter there, she was more a background character and Nathan's presence was so strong. There will never be anyone Peter loves as much as his brother. Plain and simple.

Aww! Yay! That was exactly what I was going for here. I wanted Nathan to not be in this story but for it to be all about him, and it seems I pulled it off pretty well. I agree with you, Peter loves Nathan more than anything in this world, and I could see him sacrificing himself so he wouldn't have to go through the pain of losing Nathan. Peter Petrelli always struck me as a pretty intense guy, and selfless to the point where it turns around on him and it hurts him. Thanks for all your wonderful reviews! They mean a lot to me. :)

Thank you! Glad I could fill your craving for Paire. I wrote this one way before the season finale and it made me cry when I looked at it again. Oh, Nathan my love.

The moodtheme was found in vote_petrelli. It was made by dyssocialgrafix. Seeing as how Nathan Petrelli is my favorite character and he's also my claim at mission_insane, it was only fitting that his pretty face should set my moods. :)
