Robust Oranges!! Yum.

Guess who may not make it out tonight? (The same person who's really tired and also annoyed because she doesn't have anything to knit at the bar, but doesn't want to whine to others about not having anything to knit at the bar.)

I have to spend time chatting with the folks at the shop, too, and sometimes helping other people... yes, it takes a good long while!

The Alchemy mohair is actually a silk/mohair blend, but unlike most mohair blends, it doesn't have any nylon. It has a gorgeous sheen and is really nice to work with so far.

Your Sockapaloooza sock is wonderful! Lucky sock pal! Did you mention which pattern you're using?

Thanks for the encouraging words! The pattern is... Hm, I can't remember the name, but it's in the XRX book Socks, Socks, Socks. I've been seeing the lace pattern everywhere since I started these socks; the Alchemy scarf I'm doing is almost identical, though it swaps the SSK and K2togs, and I think Orangina might use the same lace stitch.
