I don't have much to say today. I have work to do (lots, as mentioned obliquely yesterday) and an appt with the so-called lady doctor this afternoon. I am really looking forward to that cotton gown, lemme tell you.

the truth is that I cast on w/a needle 2 sizes smaller than called-for because my gauge has been loose lately, but it seems not that loose--so my scarf is a little smaller/tighter gauge than the pattern.

I don't know if I told you last night, as I was wholly taken in by the fact that Shannon was subdued, but her sweater was beatiful and fit her perfectly. (The shoulders, she couldn't believe you got the shoulders right). Good call on giving it to her in public; it made her love the moment even more, and it was fun for the rest of us to see her cry.
