Comfort on a Monday morning
I don't have much to say today. I have work to do (lots, as mentioned obliquely yesterday) and an appt with the so-called lady doctor this afternoon. I am really looking forward to that cotton gown, lemme tell you.
In defense against the CRAP, I'm wearing my red sweater. The secret sweater was delivered last night to Shannon, who was momentarily speechless--and generally a bit like a PDD kid who responds well to swaddling, apparently calmed and quieted by her lovely new sweater. It fits her well; she commented on how sweaters usually have too-long sleeves and this does not.
Anyway, I never showed you a picture of my finished "Lacy Wrap" from Vogue Holiday Knitting 2005, so here it is.
PS: The worst thing about the giant list and actually finishing stuff on it is that I'm really bad about planning ahead. I am working on improving my estimation of how long any given task will take and pacing myself out to be ready for the next thing. I'm getting better but there still is a lot to be desired.
