I'm in lots of pain at the moment, particularly in the mornings when I first wake. As a consequence I'm having to take more of my opiate pain relief. I normally take one 30/500 co-codamol tablet along with my other medication and then a few hours later I'll take another if I need it. Sorry you're having so much pain. It's amazing (in a horrible way) how that knocks everything else out of your head. It really is a catch-22. So I think you made a good decision. You're not going to be able to function, anyway, so you might as well have less pain with your non-functional condition. Maybe it's a bit better today? I'll keep my fingers crossed that things improve.

I'm still feeling much the same but my partner is off at the moment so having company is a big distraction from the pain. I'm also getting out and about doing more things than I normally would.

Hope things are good weigh you?

I'm doing pretty well. My big activity this week is cleaning my apartment because there's an inspection next Tuesday. Once a year they inspect every apartment. I'm in a senior/disabled subsidized housing building, and the government comes in to inspect once a year, mainly for maintenance issues, but the apt. management comes around to every apartment before that, and they inspect that everything is clean. I had a rough couple of months and really let things go, so it's a lot of work, but it will be wonderful to have things cleaned up finally, so in some ways it's good that they do this once a year.
