I can recommend a flexifoot for your crutches, they replace the ferrule and are an end which can bend a bit, so if you plant your crutch on the ground but then wobble around a bit, they stay planted firmly so you dont slip. Cost me £15 each but definitely worth it.

I hope whatever the 'thing' is, it is exciting and enjoyable!
