Took Raven to the airport, where she'll be flying to Germany to see her mother, who is in very poor health. My thoughts are with them.

Ana will stay with friends during the week; I'll pick her up over the weekend. I just won't be able to watch her while I'm working and going to school.

i've been having tiny blisters on some of my fingers, primarily my right hand, for quite a while, intermittently. i may have finally found the culprit: dish-soap (at my work).

damn blisters is the reason i always use gloves to wash dishes. except, well, at work.

does anyone have suggestions on good applications and/or methods of taking notes in class with a tablet pc? i'm taking math-heavy classes, so it wouldn't be easy to simply type up the notes; i'll need to hand-write them with a (digital) pen. i also need a quick way to undo and erase (old) mistakes ( Read more... )

ana downloaded "helpful" anti-virus malware from the web (paladin antivirus), which took me a few hours to clean out. i tried clamwin and malwarebytes (which was recommended), but the former didn't do much at all and the latter would fail on reboot (the virus would simply take over again). i wound up using a combination of procexp.exe, autoruns.exe ( Read more... )
