I know you won't be able to splurge on a ton of Wii games for a while, but a couple of suggestions...

Avoid licensed games based on movies - they are never really any good.

Always check www.metacritic.com/games/wii before you buy to see what's in the top.

Boom Blox, a game designed by Steven Spielberg, is great, as are Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Aren't FREE Wii's awesome, I got mine free from a drawing at work in April, was a great 40th b-day present.

Yeah, Boom Blox is very fun, Mario Kart, both great 2 player games.

Zack and Wiki, awesome game, at Walmart for $20.

Try Blockbuster, like $20 a month and you rent as many games as you like.

The new mario kart with the steering wheel is pretty fun. Although I spent most of the game driving like a drunk...that steering wheel controller will take some time to get used to.
