People usually think it's horribly hard, but it really isn't awfully hard, I think. And my first pairs were NOT neat at all... The neat, even knitting comes with experience :) I'm glad you've found the wonderful world of knitting socks too!

The red and white striped ones are to die for. :D I love these high-knee socks so much and always wear them in autumn and winter and I'm not even a big fan of socks. :D

Beautiful work!

Thank you :) I love knee-high socks incredibly much, knitted or not. And the red/white pair came out really nicely, especially with the lace ribbon I happened to have. My new favourites definitely.

Some people knit socks with circular needles, but I've never even tried it. I love my ebony knitting needles, all five of them :D

love the red and white striped ones! i love my knee socks too. makes me want to try knitting again. but as theres no hook on the end of the needle all i do is drop stitch after stitch. (i can crochet, but not knit)

It takes a bit of practise to keep the stiches tight enough, so they won't drop. But you can crochet, that's not my strong point at all. Great how we all are good at something :)
