I have SO MANY THINGS to say about this log, starting with you all get so many little tiny hearts, because this rocked and was fantastic to read and incredibly absorbing all the way through. I'd seen bits of it before and I /still/ was on the edge of my chair.
Okay. Stuff I loved.
Mirage: One of the truly neat things here was how Mirage wasn't hysterical except when it /counted/ -- it really felt like he was /breaking/ when he went into hysterics, and the pacing of it was exquisite.
Bonecrusher: Oh, /damn/. The end. The "If you hold on long enough, it doesn't seem so bad to them, and they kind of... accept it. And then they don't hurt later, if you let them go. But you... Oh, he did a number on you. You've got a self, and you've got a good memory, and he's just letting it fester. *snarls* I've killed mechs for far less." Okay, first of all, creepiest, most gorgeous line in the whole log.
