God it's doing my head in, and chubby the speak and spell claims the word does not exist. Serjoin? thats not it, but seems- god, i can;t spell the word for spelling words as they sound. Surjoin? as in a stay somewhere i think. or have i just invented the word? i even think there may be a g and an h in it. It is driving me mad. if anyone can decode

I'm still on track to be in Manchester tomorrow evening (Thurs 27th), and unless anyone has last minute suggestions, will be in Evuna shortly after 7 pm (Virgin Trains permitting).

I shall be coming to Manchester on the evening of 27th Nov, in order to attend a conference on 28th at the Manchester Museum. Is anyone likely to be around for drinks/a meal then?

I had a meeting arranged in something of a rush on friday for Monday at 4.00pm in London, so I hope to be at penderel's Oak by 6.00pm, with a 9.05pm train home. Takers?

Dear Bats, please welcome our new member, damned_colonial!

She is going to be in London next week, and while this is both short notice and a time of year when many bats are away, I wondered if it might be possible to arrange a Batmoot in her honour.

Evenings which are viable for me would be Tuesday or Thursday, and I could probably manage Wednesday.
