oh man, you've been through a lot. So sorry you think you're getting your period - my fingers are still crossed for you. DH's family sounds like it's really tough... I'm so sorry for all you're undertaking and dealing with.

DH - I so feel because his family is so much bigger and so overbearing that my family constantly gets the shaft.

All this is just incredibly crappy. Your inlaws are insane... they really need a reality check. What an awful thing for them to demand so much money from you.

I hope that AF stays away... fingers crossed

Aw man. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that AF stays away. I'm also sorry about all of this IL crap you are dealing with. Hopefully DH can understand your position and it won't turn into a fight. Sorry, also, about the job. I remember my promotion was in limbo for about 4 months and it would get me so worked up. The not knowing really sucks.

I think I come across rude and I attack....but they get me so fired up.

And yes, limbo about the job blows..nothing like putting your life on hold for months.

I don't know how you do it. Your IL's are completely nutso. I can't believe they'd ask for -- no expect! -- money from you. I don't see why you should spend any money on GMIL's bathroom. If it's still usable, then there's no reason it needs to be fixed now and it's not an emergency.

And I'm still holding out hope that AF doesn't rear her ugly head.

We are not giving them money..if DH wants to - he can funnel it through the business - which I don't think he can because they are tight there too.
