What is up with you IL's asking, no demanding, money from you guys? My inlaws are the ones in their family who have bailed everyone out in the past. And no-one ever paid them back (not that they demanded that, but when someone says they will then they should at least attempt too, sorry I digressed). I bet your DH's grandmothers' bathroom doesn't relly have to be all ripped out...probably just needs some plumbing fixed. And none of this should be anything that you guys have to pay for! I also hope your DH doesn't give out any more extravagant gift certificates to anyone in his family. They should only go to you! Perhaps, because of the GC's, that is why his family thinks you guys are made of money?! Oh, your IL's are making me angry and I don't even know them!

I'm sorry you have had to deal with so much crap lately. Really. With everything that's gone on for the past few months you need a break in all of this. Perhaps there is a hobby you used to persue that you could pick up again? Maybe get your mind in another place if only for a few hours a week? I'm hoping 2008 is a much happier, easier year for you and your family!
