GCN Conference, Anaheim

I flew out last Tuesday night to LAX, rented a car, stayed in Anaheim for the night and then drove down to San Diego Wednesday. I had coffee in Encinitas with a cultural anthropologist from UCSD. I'm jealous that you guys got to hear Peter Gomes! I still have yet to hear him speak, although I'll most likely be able to during this Lenten season.

I have to admit, I've been feeling somewhat negative toward GCN lately, perhaps unduly influenced by various former disgruntled members. But really, this weekend was such a powerful experience (despite having an extremely rocky Saturday), that I now want to get re-involved.
