Interesting thoughts (here via you're post on galactica news btw), I can completely understand what you're doing as I've gone through something very similar myself, though with me it's not fandom but the show itself that I have the major problem with.
I adored the show when it started, adored it still through season 1 and even enjoyed the first half of season 2 (though I was starting to have issues then), but the second half of the season has just seen me end up in a completely 180 degree postition from where I started from as I now hate the show with the same passion I used to love it and as so obviously I won't be watching the show anymore. It all makes me pretty sad as like I said, I really really loved this show and now that's gone...sigh...
Anyway (sorry for rambling!!), I hope that things work out for the best and you can enjoy fandom again soon
