My back is sore. I took the day off yesterday, and spent a decent chunk of it pressure-washing the pool deck. Which involves stooping over slightly most of the time, and I am feeling it today. It was pretty cool! Did you have Scholastic book fairs when you were a kid in school? I always loved those, scored some books I adored. This sale was very literally like roaming their warehouse looking at all the books. We could easily have gotten a lot more, so it's good the heat made us want to get out quickly. ;)

I f'd up my back in late March cleaning out our cars for Spring Break going to Phoenix, then again a couple of weeks ago cutting up meat and veg for Bricklayer Tacos (exceptionally yummy). At the time I was in physical therapy for my shoulder, so I had to go back to the orthopedics for another MRI and I'm resuming PT next week. I fixed my shoulder by changing my chair and keyboard at work and I also learned some good exercises, the back will be a different set of troubles.

There's a Buddy Guy song called "Done Got Old," with the chorus "Done got old / can't do the thangs I used to do." Granted, he was a lot older than I when he recorded it, but I'm already feeling where he was coming from! I think in my case it's just a matter of being out of shape--my muscles are weak because I sit on my ass in an office all day, and then usually sit some more when I get home. I just need to get more exercise!

Hey, no prob. I knew you'd just gotten the U and played it a lot with your girls. One of these days I'm going to get a console, but I need to get our TV repaired first, then I have my eyes on an Onkyo receiver that has 6 HDMI ports.

Maybe it's just because it wasn't relevant to my interests before, but I don't think I'd ever seen a Nintendo bundle before! That was definitely good timing.

Yeah, my receiver is more than a few years old, so it doesn't do HDMI at all. The TV has 4 ports, and with the WiiU they're now all spoken for. So if I ever want to add another console, a new receiver will be in order here as well. But I don't foresee that, certainly not anytime soon!
