Oooh, I really like it! My first thought was "Rainbow Brite!"

I think the message is about daring to be unique, or at least that's what it is to me. That, if you dare to be yourself that way, you can make a difference. It's defiant in a positive way.

You're so awesome!! *super glomp*

I used your thoughts to help describe my poster, so kudos. xDD Actually, that's pretty much on the mark to what my message was intended to be, so kudos!!

I miss Rainbow Brite. I had one when I was leetle. They were so awesome!

Awwww! Thanks love!! *glomps you*

Even well wishes are much appreciated! I think I did okay on the poster because the instructor seems happy, but we'll see what grade I get. ^^;

Very quickly - it's great, I like it. Concept-wise, fine. Execution-wise - one minor thing: is there a way that her right foot is not cut off? (i.e., I'd like to be able to see her toes). It's one of the first things about photography, and it always bothers me to see cut-off body parts (usually feet/legs) :)...Otherwise, what I like most is that you can also read top down, as in Past is in the lines, and Future we must cross to make a difference...I don't know if it's intentional but I find it deep somehow, both sides containing secret wisdom (secret as opposed to the obvious horizontal message/reading) :) Overall, it's eye-grabbing - always a plus for a poster. My eyes landed on the umbrella/entire girl first...as for emotion..I'll be unoriginal and say 'hope' as in hope for positive change or something..

Heeeee~! I luff you!!

The Optimism thing is pretty important. Been feeling very hopeful/optimistic about the future, which is a good feeling. I wanted to share. :)

*huuuuuuug!*

Yesh, this is something I've been told about three times now--the foot thing, that is. I'll definitely fix it and do another upload the first chance I get! :)

Yesh, there is deep meaning behind the poster, a lot of thought went into it. Originally, I had a bad grade on my comp layout, and my instructor told me that my message wasn't clear enough. At the time, I was frustrated, but later on I realized that he knew I didn't bring out my full potential and I was going about the poster the wrong way. So I went back to the drawing board, thought up more sketches, and this is what I came up with. He said it worked, so he must be happy with the results! When I think about it, he's actually a pretty good teacher--a bad one would have been satisfied with my other poster, but he knew I could do better, and he pushed me in that direction. I love that, and I'm sure that's also a part of the meaning behind this poster, too--moving forward inspite of obstacles ( ... )

I love it!
I'm sorry I couldn't comment on Friday, but except for the "foot" comment that was already made by others, there's nothing else to change for me.
My first response to the poster was to think of "Dorothy and the wizard of Oz". Maybe it's because of the journey that allows characters to find themselves or maybe it's the red shoes ^^
I really liked the previous version but this one is more eye-catching and straight to the point. It looks accomplished.
Oh and don't worry about the birds, I'm sure they'll find their place in a future artwork someday.
Good luck! *hugs*

Awww! Don't worry, sweets! ^^;

Wizard of Oz!! Now there's something awesome. I love the Wizard of Oz... maybe there's an actual influence? Food for thought!

Yay for accomplished, that was my aim. Woohoo! I hope I get a good grade. :D
