this is so gorgeous. It really emotionally satisfied me, I am sooooo over the distance btw the boys. Also, my son has Asberger's and tactile disorder, and you totally nailed that. the need for touching things, distraction, small areas needed to feel safe. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! I'm so glad it worked for you. I've read and watched a lot of documentaries about autism/Asperger's, and my brother has Asperger's and mild sensory processing disorder, so I drew on that experience. I'm glad it worked for you!

When I was imagining this 'verse, I just kept thinking, 120 years of Hell cannot just be there and done and not affect Sam at all. What does it do to a person, to have their body and soul stuck in this place for so long, and then come back to the normal, everyday world where time has meaning and things feel like they should and people expect you to behave in certain ways?
