Yeah, I love nice brother Dean. ...Especially now that I'm re-watching season four and getting to all the "If I didn't know you, I would want to hunt you" stuff. :(
This was so intricate and detailed! Sometimes reading that sort of thing can be boring, but this was not. I don't know why, but I especially liked the part about the metal and plastic forks. After reading this, and some of your reviews, I'm going to look up the sensory disorder you mentioned. It's completely new to me. Well done!
I love Dean in this story, so dedicated to Sam. And you know that in a way this is helping Dean too, since his sense of identity and self-worth are connected to taking care of his brother.
The writing really grabbed me, too. Well done! So this is going to be part of a larger 'verse? I would love to see Sam get stronger.
That's the plan, anyway. Although I think in this 'verse, even if Sam learns to cope with things a little better, he will always be kind of broken. But, hey, that's what big brothers are there for.
Wow, this was really awesome. I loved the care that Dean's put into finding things to help Sam and using resources that exist, like the weighted blankets and the lights, it was really interesting to read.

And I am a firm believer that applesauce just does not taste right unless eaten with a plastic spoon. :)
