[On Sunday night, Sirius slips back into the firehouse. He's quieter than usual--usually, he throws open the front door, and bangs around in the front hall, and generally makes a racket to announce his homecoming. Even if Jack isn't there, he makes a show of it--just because.
Tonight, he slips in the front door and shuts it behind him. And pauses in the entryway. And then goes to his bed--either to lay down, or to find Jack, if he's home yet--all with this tense and uncharacteristic quiet.]
