Anyway, so . . . you ever met Nami? She's from Edelweiss, from here. And-- well, anyway, we're together. Sorta. I think we are. Anyway, so one time-- well, back in the asylum, y'know, we were kept in these little cells. But I was staff, so I figured-- well, I could, you know, help us a little. There was this room . . . it was for the patients, theoretically, but they mostly closed it off. But it had these huge windows and grass, real grass, and you could see forever from there. And Switzerland . . . I mean, it's real pretty, Ahiru.
So I took her there once. She and me, we-- we danced for a while there.
Right . . . right, so-- well, I was-- yeah, I were five o' six, cuz Benjamin were still too small to walk. So it was me holdin' onto bed, sittin' on the counter while Ma made stew. Potatoes and meat and all that. And . . . I dunno. It was nice, y'know? Sittin' with her and watchin' her cook and gettin' to talk with her.
Yeah, well, a few days before he-- he died, we sat up on the roof. Sirius spelled it so the monsters can't see us, so we slept up there. Spent most o' the night drinkin' and smokin' and just-- talkin'.
