New Years
Well another year is over. I'm glad too! This year has not been great for us. We survived though and hopefully the new year brings us good.
So far my only resolution is to get a new job. I HATE my job right now and the people over me since the spin off. They even restricted me from another job I think the people hiring wanted me for all ( Read more... ) -
Time goes by...
Well I think we have Myra over her first virus though I think I may be hunting for a new pediatrician now. His office is dirty, he doesn't give the shots ( I had to take her to the health dept) and on Monday when I called in the nurse told me there was nothing we could do for her other than turn on the humidifier which I think made her worse and ( Read more... ) -

Kitties
Sooooo yeah. I now have a stapled up kitty, and a knocked up kitty. >_< Went outside this morning to feed the dogs and I notice some blood on JB. He's been fighting with a wild cat here recently so I thought he'd prolly had a minor fight. I get to looking and he had a huge gash in the side of his leg. Update
Well it's day 5 and we're still without power. No telling when we'll get it either. They are working like crazy on our lines but there's a lot of damage been done. Lets just hope its soon ( Read more... ) -
Going home
Just found out we're heading back. Josh's work was saying for him to stay but my work wants me to come back. So he's making arrangements to return down there with me. Wish us luck. I'll update when I can considering we still don't have power yet. -
How we fared...
Well we're getting word in today how we fared. Our house is still in one piece, but the trailer house our landlords rent next to us has a huge hole in it. We still can't get back but we are prepared for when we can. We have bought up plenty of supplies to take back and are ready to have to live by generator if we must. Hurricane Ike
Well...we had to leave again. There wasn't any time to let people know that we were leaving. They told us early this morning and we didn't have a lot of time to get packed and get out. Home Again
Well, we made it back home late last night. We're tired, and still have unpacking to do, but the good news is we have no damage. Gustov turned and went just north of here and spared us for the most part. A few people had some limbs down and such but nothing major really. Most of the damage was east of here in Louisiana.
