A/N: My first Bones fic, and it's finale!fic, because I am a lemming. I hope that I haven't inadvertently copied anyone and that this fic, like Booth, is made of very good stuff.

That was really well done. I liked the style of it, the ways you called back to old memories. You clearly get Brennan very well - she is steady, and that's really the beauty of she and Booth's relationship: they are both so steady, in their own ways. I love that.

She’d be of more use to him if he was dead.

This in particular is quite on point - I think that would be exactly how she feels. The realm in which she is very steady is the dead; when it gets to the living, she has trouble. And when it's Booth...it's another kind of trouble. You totally get it.

I would love to see you write more!

Oh, yay, thank you! I've never written Bones fic before, and whenever I write in a new fandom I worry that I won't get the voices right.

We'll see if I write more! I've watched this show since the beginning, so I don't know why it took me this long.

Definitely pretty awesome. I think this had very realistic emotions out of the characters, and it was very bittersweet. Great Job!!! :D

I really enjoyed this. I think you've nailed the theme for Season 5 with Booth's "I don't know what this means" comment. I suspect it's going to be a complete role reversal as Brennan helps him navigate the world around him. Thanks!

I don't know--a role reversal would be interesting, but I was hoping the amnesia wouldn't last that long. An episode or two, at the most. I guess we'll see, right?

This is wonderful! I love your writing style, and the ending especially. It's very clever and sweet. The entire scenario is easy to picture. Awesome job!
