I have been remiss in my Bloggly Duties updating of things, though I post a few blurbs on Facebook these days in a hurry. For the most part been either busy, or sick, the past couple of months. Here are some quick updates

You know, I've considered cutting some gluten out. I have noticed I feel really sleepy after a big meal that usually includes some sort of processed bread.
Pasta affects me not as badly, and rice dishes are even less itis-inducing.
The problem is, I don't exactly *want* to give up my breads. I like them. I'm just weirded out by how tired I get afterwards, really tired.
Fatigue and such can occur from the glycemic qualities of the food regardless of gluten content--- the quicker it converts to sugars into your system, your body responds with quick energy, and then it runs out and you grow weary and tired. Refined sugars and starches are worse for this, and intake of starches and sugars without balancing proteins are particularly prone to bad results

Ah, good points that I didn't know. I'll experiment with some lesser processed stuff then. TMI, but it's a little hard to tell a difference in what's IBS, and what's something else.
