[Day 1: Marisa and Chie are the men of the house]
Can someone just please tell me what's going on?! It's getting crazy again...oh, man...just...let me know as soon as someone figures it out. Does it have anything to do with the milk? I think I've heard a few things, but...

[That afternoon, Chie will bring the milk in and set it on the kitchen ( Read more... )

[Just strolling her way down to the kitchen like every other day, as per usual. But she's already aware of the commotion; the restlessness in the air can be comparable to that before a battle.

She'll just lightly tilt her head at Chie, giving the bottle a side glance.]

Have to? [She always straight out ignored it, but there was the mayor's announcement a few days ago, wasn't there?]

[Chie sighs, picking up one of the bottles. It just looks like normal milk.]

That's what I heard, but...I'm hearing a lot of things. Like, that the milk has razor blades in it, and I saw some people outside acting crazy. And there was that creepy announcement and all those posters...ugh, it doesn't make any sense.

[Marisa'll casually walk over, pick one up, and give it a shake. Nothing looks out of place...]

There's nothing visible in it. ...What else did you hear about? [Sounds like Chie's much more informed than she is...]

That's pretty much it...it's really kind of a guess at this point. All I know is that people I know aren't drones have been going crazy outside. I think I even saw someone drive through the fences at one point.

Chie-senpai?!

[Kanji can't help but remember finding her dying on the ground a few months ago.]

What happened, where are you?

[Oh, god, her voice is so weak, Kanji. And it's clear she's in pain. She hasn't even finished the bottle yet.]

T-the milk. There are small blades in it.

W-what? [Kanji hasn't seen that effect.] Shit, um, have you talked to Senpai? He might be able to do somethin'...

[Since Kanji's Persona can't heal.]

DAY 2 notbyronic August 17 2011, 05:34:28 UTC
[Ramirez sees her in the kitchen, but he certainly doesn't care. :| He had absolutely no intention of drinking that milk and this mindset is only exacerbated by the fact that Chie is currently coughing up blood in the sink.

He had been in the vicinity when Chie downed her milk, but even after witnessing her unfortunate luck, his face remained as impassive as ever. He made no move to aid her- why should he? It's not like he requested she risk her life. Instead, Ramirez just observed her silently, without a single shred of remorse or sympathy in his face.]

[It's Chie at her lowest. When she's not coughing up blood, her arms and legs trembling in an effort to keep her from falling as she leans on the sink, she's taking another drink from the bottle.

And then it starts again. She barely even notices Ramirez, but she says nothing to him. She just gives him a predictably helpless look...but there's hatred there, too, plain as day.

It doesn't last long, though. She's coughing again.]

[ Souji barrels through the front door of the house. He is panting and there is a sword strapped to his back. ]

Chie! Where the Hell are you!?

[ He runs further into the house and into the kitchen, eyes wide open when he sees Chie by the sink with blood pooling out of her mouth. ]

Kikuri-Hime! Diarahan!

[ Souji's Persona materializes, then imbues Chie with a soft green light. The incredible pain and discomfort quickly evaporates from Chie. ]

Hey... Chie... Talk to me...

Oh, man...t-thanks, Chief.

[She slumps to her knees. She had been shaking so bad from forcing herself to drink milk she knew could kill her that she could hardly feel them anymore.

But someone had to do it. She knew she was the best choice right now.

She lowers her head against the sink's cabinet doors, sobbing a little. Souji is free to notice that the milk bottle, which has blood on it...is still about a third-full. She can't look at him right now, though.]

I-I'll be fine.

[But still, between going into the TV and forcing yourself to drink that...it's a tough call between which is the most frightening thing she's ever done.]

[ He comes up behind Chie and wraps his arms around her, squeezing tight. He buries his face into her back--his arms are shaking--and he holds her for several moments. Relief, worry, fear, happiness, sadness, a flurry of emotions just envelopes him. This is just too cruel... ]

[She tries to choke back some of her sobs, but with Souji hugging her, everything just comes loose. The terror of trying to help your house, blood coming from cuts on her lips, in her mouth, in her throat and stomach...and no one there to help her. Especially after the day before when Marisa had a completely normal glass.

She cries for a solid few minutes, not saying anything except what she always says. "I'll be fine." "Is everyone else okay?" "Just...give me a minute." There's no real meaning behind the words other than to make herself feel tougher. Eventually, though, she wipes more tears onto the back of her arm.]

I have to finish it, Souji.

[Sorry, Conan, first you get a wet-sounding cough. Why wet? Because she's coughing up blood, it's not the prettiest sound.]

J-just at home! Ugh...d-don't drink the milk, kid! Let someone else do it for you!

The milk bottle here broke- but don't worry about that.

[he knows that sound and he does not like it- think Kudo, think. What would be reasonable first aid for this sort of thing?]

Address?
