[Day 1: Marisa and Chie are the men of the house]
Can someone just please tell me what's going on?! It's getting crazy again...oh, man...just...let me know as soon as someone figures it out. Does it have anything to do with the milk? I think I've heard a few things, but...

[That afternoon, Chie will bring the milk in and set it on the kitchen

[ Action ] - Day 2

[inababanchou]

[ Souji barrels through the front door of the house. He is panting and there is a sword strapped to his back. ]

Chie! Where the Hell are you!?

[ He runs further into the house and into the kitchen, eyes wide open when he sees Chie by the sink with blood pooling out of her mouth. ]

Kikuri-Hime! Diarahan!

[ Souji's Persona materializes, then imbues Chie with a soft green light. The incredible pain and discomfort quickly evaporates from Chie. ]

Hey... Chie... Talk to me...

Oh, man...t-thanks, Chief.

[She slumps to her knees. She had been shaking so bad from forcing herself to drink milk she knew could kill her that she could hardly feel them anymore.

But someone had to do it. She knew she was the best choice right now.

She lowers her head against the sink's cabinet doors, sobbing a little. Souji is free to notice that the milk bottle, which has blood on it...is still about a third-full. She can't look at him right now, though.]

I-I'll be fine.

[But still, between going into the TV and forcing yourself to drink that...it's a tough call between which is the most frightening thing she's ever done.]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[ He comes up behind Chie and wraps his arms around her, squeezing tight. He buries his face into her back--his arms are shaking--and he holds her for several moments. Relief, worry, fear, happiness, sadness, a flurry of emotions just envelopes him. This is just too cruel... ]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[counterstrikes]

[She tries to choke back some of her sobs, but with Souji hugging her, everything just comes loose. The terror of trying to help your house, blood coming from cuts on her lips, in her mouth, in her throat and stomach...and no one there to help her. Especially after the day before when Marisa had a completely normal glass.

She cries for a solid few minutes, not saying anything except what she always says. "I'll be fine." "Is everyone else okay?" "Just...give me a minute." There's no real meaning behind the words other than to make herself feel tougher. Eventually, though, she wipes more tears onto the back of her arm.]

I have to finish it, Souji.

[ Action ] - Day 2

[ Souji is still holding her tight. His shaking stopped a few minutes ago, but his grasp around Chie is firm. When he speaks his voice cracks and he clears his throat. ]

No. You've... taken so many hits for me... Let me finish this one... Please...

[ His fingers dig into her arms. ]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[counterstrikes]

I don't even know if it works like that! Yesterday, nothing happened here because Marisa drank a bottle...so far all we know, I have to be the one that finishes it.

[She's heard about the dronings. It's terrifying. She doesn't want that happening to Lyn or Marisa. Ramirez can go die in a fire. Even as Souji holds her, Chie starts to stand up.]

I-It'll all be fine now. It's not going to hurt much anymore.

[She takes a series of deep breaths, her arms shaking again.]

Even if it hurts, it'll be gone in just a second thanks to you.

[ Action ] - Day 2

[inababanchou]

[ Souji is still on the floor. His grip loosens as Chie stands up. Moments later he stands up too. His face is expressionless, but he watches Chie. If he tried to snatch it from her, she'd kick him. No question. Chie is strong, and she's going to drink from the bottle... He nods. ]

As soon as you swallow...

[ Kikuri-Hime appears besides Souji. It stands at the ready. ]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[counterstrikes]

[She doesn't even turn around to look at Souji. She looks down at the bottle and continues her deep breathing. Her arms are still shaking, but she's a bit more determined.]

Don't stop once I start. I'm going to finish the rest in one go now that you're here.

[She can't wait for a response. She can't talk herself out of it, so she quickly snatches up the bottle, tilts her head back a little, and forces the foul concoction down her throat. It's only a split second before she coughs and the cutting starts.]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[ Souji is already sending healing goodness the moment the liquid passes her lips. The comforting green light imbues Chie again as Souji wordlessly casts Diarahan again, quickly absolving the pain and mending the wounds almost as soon as it started...

He steps closer, gently putting a hand on her back and holding it there. ]

[ Action ] - Day 2

[counterstrikes]

[If only healing spells worked on things that hadn't happened yet. She feels each cut, still...but it's quickly gone. It's like being stung, as opposed to being cut and bleeding out.

It's not long before she finishes. When she's done, she throws the bottle into an open trash can she had pulled out when the bleeding first started.]

O-oh, man...it's finally over.

[ Action ] - Day 2

[ He winces, looking a little hurt but smiles. ]

Yeah... It's really terrible they were razor blades... but I'm happy that you're still you...
