Dr. L gave Mom 1-2 months. He's been really fucking wrong before (two weeks was the prognosis twice, the very first one and then again a little over a year ago) but he is stopping treatment. Chemo won't get the brain tumors, it'll just ravage her body. It wouldn't even delay the inevitable. She's coming home from the hospital tomorrow and there ( Read more... )

Mom's oncologist came in. There's nothing they can do for the brain tumors. More radiation would fuck up her brain, the chemo doesn't go to it, and he doesn't have an estimate for the time she has left.
